Cherry on the road with Bernie Marsden

Cherry has had a busy couple of months joining Bernie Marsden and his band including Jim Kirkpatrick on guitar (FM), Phil Spalding on bass (Mick Jagger, Simon Townshend), and Mark Stanway on keyboards (Magnum), on some of his UK tour dates including legendary venue The Jazz Cafe and venue favourite of Cherry's, The Stables in Milton Keynes. Most recently, she took to the stage to belt out a couple of Whitesnake numbers at Silverstone for the British Grand Prix in front of no less than 16,000 up-for-it racing lovers! If anyone made it along to the gigs and has any pics or video footage, we'd love to see/hear! Drop us a line at info@cherryleemewis.com.
Those of you who didn't make any of the dates, the first set included Cherry singing 3 Whitesnake numbers acoustic with Bernie and Jim, and then the second set involved Robert Hart from Bad Company taking over on lead vocals and Cherry and fellow singer Marie Haywood on backing vocals. "I had a lot of fun with Bernie and the guys," says Cherry, "it was such a hoot and there'll be more coming up in the pipeline for sure. Silverstone was super cool, hope you enjoy the pics below!"
